and this June, I'm headed to Uganda with a team of young adults from Mariners Church for a trip Jesus has been so clearly putting on my heart. It honestly feels like everything I love colliding at once: storytelling, people, purpose, and the kind of Kingdom work that actually matters.
Give to my trip →Missions has always been my heart — and saying yes to where Jesus is leading.
Growing up with missionary parents in Mexico planted something in me early. A love for people. A love for stories. A deep care for the heart behind the work — not just the work itself. It shaped how I see the world, and it's the same thread the Lord keeps weaving through everything I do now as a creative.
But there's something about stepping out of the routine — out of the everyday rhythm of inboxes and edits and content calendars — that I've been craving. A reset. A reminder. A chance to show up somewhere unfamiliar, with hands open, and let God use me however He wants.
We'll be serving alongside Africa Renewal Ministries and Gaba Community Church — long-time partners who've been quietly transforming communities for over 30 years.
Five places. One Jesus.
Would you partner with me?
Pray.
For our team's safety and unity. For open hearts — ours and the people we get to meet. And honestly, that the Lord would move powerfully through this whole thing in ways only He can, and that everything we do would point back to Jesus.
Give.
If the Lord is putting it on your heart to support financially, every bit truly helps me get there and serve well. Thank you for being part of what God is doing — it means more than you know.
